Mr. Murray Allen Stinson

U.S. Veteran

Mr. Murray Allen Stinson age 87 of Oak Ridge Place in Brewton, passed away Wednesday evening April 25, 2012 at a local nursing facility after a brief illness.

Mr. Stinson was a native and former resident of Evergreen, Alabama, before moving to Brewton in August 1958. He was a retired school administratior with W.S. Neal Elementary and was a long-time minister of the Gospel. He was a member of the Brewton Church of Christ and served in the United States Army and Merchant Marines.

Survivors - Wife of 64 years; Elois W. Stinson of Brewton; 1 Daughter; Marie (Terry) Clark of East Brewton; 2 Sisters; Wilma Cooper of Clinton, MS; Juanita Worlund of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida; 1 Granddaughter; Jennifer (J.D.) Zeiler of Tyrone, Georgia; 2 Great Grandchildren; Hannah Zeiler and David Clark Zeiler; Nieces, Nephews, and other family members.

Mr. Stinson was preceded in death by his grandson; Dewayne Clark Jr,.

Funeral services for Mr. Murray Allen Stinson are scheduled for Saturday morning April 28, 2012 at 10 AM at Craver's Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Pete Davis offciating. Interment will follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens with CRAVER'S FUNERAL HOME INC OF BREWTON DIRECTING.

Visitation will be held Friday evening April 27, 2012 from 6 until 9 PM at Craver's Funeral Home Inc,.
